Use case
We're extending the same reconciliation and citation engine that grounds your financial model to CSRD disclosure data, so a sustainability figure is designed to carry the same evidence trail a revenue figure already does.

Rexfin's approach to CSRD reporting
An illustrative rendering of the direction, not a recording of a shipped screen; talk to us if evidence-grade CSRD reporting fits your reporting cycle.
The direction is a single governed model sustainability, finance, and operations teams share, instead of a spreadsheet each, reconciled by hand at quarter-end.
Designed to carry a disclosure line back to the document and check that produced it, the same discipline already used for a financial actual; not a compliance claim, a reconciliation direction.
The same governed data would carry through into ordinary performance tracking, so a disclosure period is not the only time anyone looks at the numbers.
Key features, planned
The plan is to collect disclosure evidence from whichever team holds it (finance, ops, sustainability) into one intake, instead of five separate emailed spreadsheets.

Model a transition plan or an unmitigated baseline in plain language and see dependent lines recompute: the same deterministic recompute already used for financial scenarios.

Disclosure figures would sit in the same canonical atom store as financial actuals, addressable and versioned per reporting period rather than living in a side tracker.

A general guide
A brief, general outline of the steps most organizations work through, not a Rexfin product feature list. The evidence-grade layer above is what we intend to extend into this workflow.
Scope, thresholds, and phase-in timelines determine which entities and which reporting year are actually in play.
Someone accountable for the disclosure, someone accountable for the underlying data: named, not assumed.
What the business affects, and what affects the business, both need to be identified before you decide what to report.
Compare what current reporting already captures against what the standard now requires.
Decide who submits what, how it gets checked, and what "done" looks like for a disclosure line.
Disclosures read better when they describe decisions the business already made, not ones bolted on for the filing.
Assurance providers can flag gaps in evidence months before the deadline does.
Finance, sustainability, and the functions that hold the underlying data all need a seat before the process is finalized.
The skills to gather, check, and narrate disclosure data rarely already sit in one team.
A disclosure is not a one-time filing; the process needs to survive next year’s cycle too.
Not a rating. A chain.

The same trust-chain discipline extended to non-financial ESG metrics, so a disclosure carries the same lineage as a financial figure.

Not yet. It sits on our roadmap as an extension of the reconciliation and citation engine already running for financial actuals; this page describes the direction, not a shipped module.
No. We never make a compliance or certification claim for a regulation this specific. The direction is designed to support evidence-grade disclosure reporting; compliance itself is a legal determination for you and your assurance provider.
The plan is the same source documents a business already holds (utility invoices, supplier disclosures, ERP exports) checked against the printed total the same way a financial actual is today.
That is the intent: every real figure in the product is designed to open onto the source page it came from, the extraction that produced it, and the check that confirmed agreement; disclosures and finance under one discipline.
The direction is scenario modeling for a transition plan the same way Rexfin already models a financial scenario: in plain language, with dependent lines recomputing deterministically.
