Continuous Planning

Continuous planning replaces the fixed monthly or quarterly forecast cycle with one that updates as new actuals arrive, so the plan stays current instead of going stale the week after it’s built.

The cadence only helps if what feeds it is trustworthy. Planning continuously against actuals that haven’t been reconciled just means the forecast is wrong more often, faster. See why continuous planning needs continuous reconciliation first.
